About Dr. Carter

Dr. Carter is a fully-trained specialist in orthodontics. He attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where he completed his pre-dental training and studied Russian. He received early acceptance into the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2004 with high honors, receiving his DMD dental degree. Dr. Carter completed his orthodontic specialty training at OHSU in 2006 and received his masters degree in orthodontics.

Dr. Carter lives in West Salem with his wife Misty and three children, Zac, Ashley and Owen. He enjoys mountain and road cycling, fly-fishing, speaking Russian, and most of all camping in the great outdoors with his family.

Dr. Carter is fully committed to the excellent orthodontic treatment of children and adults and treating everyone with respect, care, and a smile.
